Born in the early 70’s, Carlos Rodriguez started collecting music even before he learned to walk.  Raised near from a latin-french culture, he soon developed a personal taste for the underground sounds.  As expected, all the late 70’s and 80’s musical influences had led him to develope a sound that stands far from the common factors;  a mixture between atmospheric ambience, industrial beats and twisted voice manipulation.

 

His participation as a cofounder of the Nopal Beat collective in Latin America has positioned him as one of the most outstanding influences in his country.  After 3 consecutive years in the Mutek MX line up, Carlos Rodriguez presents Paravoice, name accidentally taken from ‘Vitaminsforyou’ remix, where he found a playground for rhythm and voice sample experimentation.
